Once upon a time in a Galaxy very very close there evolved a race called humans who, for whatever reason (war, pollution, quest for whatever) they found it needful to leave the cradle of their nativity. In launching their colony expedition they thought it wise to build an ark to preserve the genetic diversity of their homeworld.

I've been spending some time thinking about what it would take for a pirate to catch a frieghter in both the classic KH and in the KH vector movement systems.

Since I do my best reading with a cup of coffee and a hard copy its taken me till now to really digest this article.

Not really canon but it accurately recreates the classes of ships from KH (with the exceptions that Adam mentioned) Which makes it a very compelling arguement for its use to my mind.

Based on the feedback from the Issue 12 post I've listed the following below.
If everyone picked one item to submit per month to write up that would be a great start to having a bi-monthly issue. Also, if you know someone not on this site they may have existing material; send them an email or submit on their behalf (get permission first).

Notice: This item originally appeared in a Signs & Portents pdf from Mongoose Publishing.  I cannot recall which issue it was in at this time.  To the best of my knowledge I have changed very little of the original document; making slight changes to the text to fit into the Star Frontiersuniverse.  Please let me know if this inappropriate I shall remove it from this forum.

I'm currently using Bills Skilled Frontier article SFM 9 which has a Linguist PSA
it references human languages, dralasite languages etc.

hadn't really thought about this aspect of the setting so I'm really looking to steal ideas from others

Do you just say there's 1 human language, 1 dral language, 1 vursk language, 1 yaz and then Pan-Gal and assume that in a future society that through recording and wide spread communication these languages have settled down and don't change much.

or do you multiply the number of languages for each race?

I'm reading hscodex today ( Heroscapes webzine http://www.hscodex.com/ ) and noticed that some of the articles are direct copy-and-paste from the heroscapers.com website. I have not been able to keep up with my Heroscape customs nor play the game as much as I like - so the webzine was useful in that it reviewed some of the great content on the site.

Hey, who remembers Twilight 2000 from back in the day? I never owned the rules or a module but thought the concept was cool. Group of american soldiers caught deep behind enemy lines in poland after WW3 and they have to get to the Baltic to try to find a way home. theres been nukes and stuff and its kind of like Gamma world without all the mutations.

I was just thinking up Star Frontiers stuff while driving to and back from Maine today:
