Inspired by the Fitz Lang movie see wikipedia:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangmen_Also_Die

I'm just throwing mud against the wall with this till I get really inspired so please do offer ideas

The bad guy in this was the HangMan of Prague In WW2 an SS killer who historically gets ganked by Czech resistance fighters parachuting from a British plane during Operation Anthropoid (great name)

So how to do this as a full blown campaign adventure for Star Frontiers?

I submitted a Knight Hawks scenario at the end of Will's Christianna-Class Torpedo Frigate submission in #13-p37 and was wondering if anyone had a chance to run it? I didn't get a chance to run the encounter myself (shame on my circuits!). Repinted below.

Old friend recently moved back into the area and decided to run a One-on-One Star Frontiers game with me, we are starting with Crash on Volturnus. Since it is just me, he allowed me more a advanced character.

I have been pondering terraforming.  I am of the understanding that a reason Earth can maintain an atmosphere and Mars can not is due to our strong magnetic field created by the convection of our molten core.  Mars lacks a strong magnetic field and thus is unshielded from the solar wind and it can not build up an atmosphere because it gets blown away.  Is this correct?  If so, is there a viable way to create a sufficient electromagnetic field as part of a terraforming project?

Does anyone ever spend the time to pump exp into developing their racial abilities: lie detection, battle rage, comprehension?

I'd love to know the thinking behind a vrusk's comprehension score starting at 15% and the others at 5%

Wouldn't lie detection and comprehension also qualify as skills? They are something that you can become skilled in in the real world.

Jedi was laying in bed thinking again.

The existence of an organic computer (see the dragon magazine archive) issue 112
    http://www.f4fbbs.com/StarFrontiers/rules/Dragon/

    suggests some intriguing possibilities

    1. the very tech neccessary to do this would allow other things

    2. scientist who had this available would want to push the boundaries to see how far they could go with it.

    Campaign Idea:

PCs are hired by a slightly mysterious ship captain who has need for them to accomplish a sort of laundry list of jobs for him. (PCs dont need star ship skills for this to start) He has a list of names to be run down and found and its not as easy as just looking these people up in the phone directory. Plus occassionally he wants some old or well protected item found and or acquired. So they bounce around the Frontier in his ship which has some guns but also has cargo holds plus a few other oddities.

Dralasite society is very respectful of the individual.  The freedom and independence of the person is paramount in the dral mind.  Drals typically live alone in small houses with a common court yard.  They use this communal places for social gathering.  They are very fond of gathering and discussing anything and everything.  Having differing opinions is sign of a strong mind and true independence.  Meals are prepared and shared in the common.  The dwellings are typically occupied by parents, sibling buds, pre-parents (males in gender terms), and elders (neuter drals).  A parent may ha

I'm working on a table of encounters for a crowded city street and looking for ideas

so far my table has stuff like proposition criminal, proposition sexual, thugs or street punks looking to cause trouble, push street vender, religious cultist preaching or pushing literature, something wet and or disgusting falls on PC, pick pocket

basically the idea is small throw away encounter designed to slow movement and convey the flavor of a teaming crowded metropolis.

    all ideas are appreciated.
