![]() September 4, 2011 - 5:02am | Hi All, Just found a free PDF of this up on DrivethruRPG. Its pretty much old school D&D, but just begining to leaf thru it. Anybody else seen this yet? "If we knew what we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?" -A Einstein |
![]() August 27, 2011 - 4:03am | What are the flags of the Frontier? Its a human tradition and not at all certain that the other races will have a similar practice. I see yazirians and humma having a similar practice. Dralasites would easily adopt the practice. I think it'd be likely that the strong maritime tradition of the ifshnit would see the evolution of a flag. Strong possibility that both the Rim and the Frontier have flags. So what's the flag of the UPF? The MSO? Planetary governments? And etc. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
![]() August 26, 2011 - 9:56pm | What is the DM's job? Think of hilarious occupational hazards we DM's have and post. (We often call him the Referee, but most know the term DM.) DM tip: A hero is someone who dies for a cause or ideal. A DM's job is to make the players feel like their characters are heroes. |

![]() August 22, 2011 - 5:49am | I was working on an article and needed to refer to ifshnits in the plural several times and saying "ifshnits" with an S just felt odd on the tongue and actually started to irritate me a little. Now in one place I refered to the "Ifshno-Sathar War" much like we refer to the Russo-Japanese War I've also used Ifshno and Ifshna as gender terms in that article. What I was wondering was what the community thought would work better as a plural term for ifshnit: ifshno or ifshna? ![]() August 17, 2011 - 4:31am | For some reason primitive apeman are popular in STar Frontiers. Whether its the Kurabanga of the Volturnus series The Snapes of Bugs in the System The Wypongs of "Layover at Lossend" Polygon 18 (I like to call them wywrongs) The Lokkuku of Mission to Alcazzar or the one in the Trouble on Janus convention module Or the apemen in 2001 module. Sometimes I wish module writers would take their dirty hands of the damn dirty apes! I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
