Are they physical currency or purely electronic?  Are they electronic and managed by a central authority (or multiple authorities) or electronic but also portable like bitcoin (but that actually works). I'm just wondering what the criminal world trades in, like do they have to trade in barter valuable because of credits being electronic and the good guys in the UPF and Star Law go after known criminals credit accounts?

So.... I'm making decisions for my first jump "back" into SF as I've posted here.

I'm trying to decide for my adventure if I want their shuttle to have areodynamic qualities or be a thurster oriented lander sort fo thing that can mostly only do straight up and down rather than fly around the planet.

Is it common for shuttles to be areodynaimc and have wings for atmospheric flight?

Hello all... I'm new to the boards.  Tried to play SF back in middle school (when it was new) and everybody dies so we never warmed up to the game.

Just caught a movie trailer for Delivery Man and naturally it made me wonder about sperm banks in the Frontier. Do dralasites use a spore bank? Vrusk? Egg bank?

Another cracked.com article but if your trying to get your kids into gaming this might give you some ideas. Especially #4

It seems that Malcadon's thread: http://www.starfrontiers.us/node/7758#comment-32418
is being hi-jacked into a major disccussion on the setting background

much of it focuses on dealing with the homeworlds and justification for being out of contact.

Idead keep surfacing at the edges of my mind for adventure hooks involving them thus the reason for a new thread rather than hi jack that one further.

So far in fan cannon these ideas have been floated:

We're all more or less familiar with the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World
    1. the Great Pyramid
    2. Hanging Gardens of Babylon
    3. Colossus of Rhodes
    4. Statute of Zeus at Olympia
    5. Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
    6. Temple of Artemis
    7. Light House of Alexandria

In 2001 the New 7 Wonders Foundation launched a website to refresh the list which was essentially a popularity contest as people could send in multiple votes.

The followed that up with the Seven Wonders of the Natural world.
