 March 7, 2012 - 3:25pm | In reading some of the back ground material to look for ideas for space equipment I came across this line from the campaign section of the Knight Hawks remastered: "At the time there was no Spacefleet of any sort. A number of starships had been equipped with weapons to battle pirates and members of the other three races," Before the Sathar War the four races were shooting at each other with starships!?! OK I haven't seen anything in the timeline about this. Someone start explaining. Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go? |

Players should post info on the PCs like at a minimum Ability scores and skills (including the skill levels as you get some choice there) as stated in the player info PSA is irrelevant since this is one shot and there will effectively be no advancement during the game. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
 March 4, 2012 - 12:08pm | I've been thinking about what would exist in a private residence for the various races as a place they would go to relax/play. For humans, something that I think would be common is a pool and/or hot tub. For drals there would probably be a fancy steam room. But what would the other races have has an equivalent. Maybe for yazirians it is a overgrown jungle room? What would the vrusk have? What other things would you put in your private getaway location? Ad Astra Per Ardua! February 29, 2012 - 8:32am | Idle thoughts, I've had: How did the tetrarchs get the name tetrarch (rule of four)? They were not around to tell us there name, and as far as I know no one has deciphered a 10,000 year dead language that is not even related to anything we know. Deciphering Cuneiform would have been childs play compared to this. So why did the first archaeologist to find the ruins name the tetrarchs tetrarchs? This can be useful as a story foil, and convienient in terms of taking for granted certain elements of knowledge. (I.E. Space Nazis are eeeevil!) February 27, 2012 - 11:39pm | Was having trouble getting the yaz pictures that I wanted so I started drawing daily, after two weeks I'm popping out a yaz every 15 minutes, Not a whole picture just enough for an illustration. The actual shading and coloring takes more time but not significant enough to make individual pictures too time consuming.  February 26, 2012 - 9:45pm | I need a well laid out document to explain SF to new players. The idea comes from Mission to Alcazzar, the pc is instructed to contact CDC if a rival operation is involved. CDC does not give the players a sub space radio. They are railroaded into using the one at Streels compound. This doc would explain equipment, skills, yada. Basically so pc are giving enough info to make educated decisions.
