In a time of war as a flegdling federation struggles against an implacable foe, two alien species discover a forbidden love. Forbidden by society, religion and the military they serve their passion burned even as the sathar nuked planet after planet. Would their fragile love, like the federation, survive or be blown away in the winds of war?

So, I'm cooped up in a hotel that's more of a flat. I was thinking frontier hotels would have religious books depending on location. Yazirian worlds might have old baillorism scripts, dral hotels may stuff fluidic bibles in drawers, humans would have their main book sitting on the desk/couch and vrusk would have Ki'tvKIK Guide to Beauty of the Ancients.

    ..just some rendom thoughts.

I'm working on the beginnings of a network who's mastermind is (removed). Once I have the layout I'll make a blank copy and give to players. Each time they reveal someone in the network I'll had out a bonus; gear, fame, job offering, credits, etc...

    Here's a hook/seed for your next adventure.
I can see using Jedion's Creating an Octopus network from issue #17 with this idea.

I remember that some 25 years ago, I scaled the Knight Hawks starship gun damage to fit the character-scale damage.

Although rolling about 40 d20 for a basic Proton battery attack took some time, it was quite a fun -- suddenly, starship armament really produced a punch. Also, the scaled Hull Points were quite impressive. On the con side, the system had been unbalanced, of course, just for fun. I even remember there had been a "Cold Light" weapon (if you have ever read Mark Brandis, you know what I mean).

Last game played: Somewhere in the 80th (Vrusk by heart) -- fond of Jugger, a "post-apocalyptic" sport

Not having been able to really follow the B5 series when it was on TV I'm enjoying catching it a season at a time from the library.

Something about it is seductively attractive in its elemental construction and not the exact storyline or the station.

Mysterious race (shadows) working behind the scenes to take everything down

Religious elements that tie into the story

telepathy and other mystic mumbo jumbo playing a small but some times important role

    Political intrigue
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I've created a Google image for the community to use for online games and reference material. It's in the Adventure Writing Forum project. I'll eventually create the "current" Frontier which will include all the system discovered during the modules and another one for the Zeb's material.

    Early Frontier (w00t)

This document cover the early Frontier during the Age of Colonozation and before Sathar War I. Inspiration is largley taken from TomV's  Frontier Timeline, Issue #16-p34

(This map is read-only, you can download a copy or if you have a Google account you can "make a copy" and edit, add, change anything you want. Below is a smaller version)

Call me sentimental but I was just watching a documentary on John Wayne's making of the ALAMO. lot of grainy film footage taken on a small home camera mixed with actual movie film footage and after the fact interviews.
