I've been working on several guidebooks detailing animals and creatures for the frontier, and I found myself at a quandry about naming creatures for the books. This has always been one thing that's always given me problems. I can come up with descriptions and information about things without too much trouble but when it comes to naming a new creature I get a headache trying to come up with names.

I think we've all done this: changed, modified, re-tooled, re-written, converted, and even spilled coffee on the Crash on Volturnus module and its associated modules

Shadow is famous for his running of the game from the point of view of the pirates, something that I thought was very cool.

How about an SF parallel adventure of a planet in rebellion against its dictator like what we have in Libya right now?  Maybe the PCs are just employees caught in the middle and they are FORCED to pick sides or else they will all die?  Are the rebels actually worse than the dictator?

I'm thinking about starting up (or attempting to restart) a "live" on-line campaign (via skype + OpenRPG or something similar) and was wondering if there would be any interest in actually playing this game instead of just talking about it Smile.  We tried something like this in the past but it was very sporatic and didn't work out.  And maybe it won't work out this time as well as I think the biggest hurdle is the fact that we s

I was looking at some things in star Frontiers the other day, (doing research as always) and I began to see a few things that make me believe that TSR was using US history as its basis for the history of the Frontier. Now some of you might be a little sensitive to some of my thinking so I apologize in advance.

You'll do anything for a credit. Well just about anything. You boast about making runs where everyone else gets caught. Your tough, most run or try to fast talk their way out of situations, you don't. Always try to make a few creds on the side, as long as it doesn't interfere with your current customer/employeer.

Play this character is you like to brag, swindel and get the big payout. You'll make sure rivals know your the best.

    My idea:

    HS - 6, 3 engine count.

What do you think of mounting 3 Atomics *and* 3 Ion engines?  Atomics for standard ADF/MR, jumps, yada yada, while the Ion's would be used for stealthy applications.

    Just curious on the consensus.

In the d20 Conversions project I'm working on a Star Frontiers conversion to D&D 4e. I have a lot done already but need someone who is familiar with the system to bounce ideas off. If your that person either post here or PM me. I'm 80% done with the conversion, another 10% and it will be ready to play-test. The last 10% will be clean up work and re-thinking after the play-test.
