With albedo suits and in particular the albedo screen that provides superior protection there is no reason for the Frontier to not see the rise of an aggressive form of laser tag or something similar as a gladitorial sport.

I've been thinking about the sathar habit of tubing brains to operate a facility and or ships but what about fighter craft?

We have to ask why and for what purpose they would do this.

There has been no indication that they tube a significant number of brains but there is probably no reason why they cant. NOTE: I know that this is the story in the new BSG but I wasn't coming at it from that direction.

    New Idea kicking around:

    Started here:
    http://www.starfrontiers.us/node/8539

Base idea is a corporate charter to open up a new planet and develop its resources much like Plymoth colony in America. PCs have a contract with pay schedules for bonuses at various plateau's and are in on the ground floor of setting up the colony.

Lets spit ball a guide to contraband in the Frontier

WoWL gave up one: weapons being brought into White Light

When I did a big write up on Laco, I believe I said something about artifact smuggling- Laco has 10,000 year old pyramids and is sort of the Egypt of the Frontier thus since Egypt today is notorious for artifact smuggling as well as faked artifacts it makes sense to write that in here.

Its cannon that the Terledrom militia imposes the death penalty on smuggling, but smuggling what?

i am suffering through too much data. I have downloaded everything from everywhere and find myself in need of a compendium of creatures, aliens, monsters, etc.

Has this ever been done? I also have used several ideas and random creatures from the SPACE OPERA martigan Belt scenario. I will plod through and make one for myself, but wanted to know if there is one existing already.

There have been a variety of approaches:

    1. Classic AD or default AD & KH: no space ships ie you or you employer pays for a ride.
This has been characterized as Beginning characters walk around doing stuff, mid level characters ride around in vehicles doing stuff, high level characters fly around ins space ships doing stuff.

I was a player in SF for maybe 6 times in the early days. The old stuff was our groups bread and butter. Boot Hill, Top Secret, AD and D, etc. Recently a friend from that group reunited with us, and wanted to play SF again. As I said, I was not a referee at the time, but as my hazy years old grey matter seems to recall. the climax of our mission was attampting to capture a Sathar alive (I know, practically impossible!). I believe this was 1982 or 83.
