    Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am looking for individuals to help me proof my Star Frontiers Unisystem Conversion. For those who are not aware I am using the Unisystem, the RPG system used in All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Terra Primate and WitchCraft. Since All Tomorrows Zombies has been released I will be using that book for reference along with Terra Primate. If anyone wants to keep me focused and has patience I would really appreciate the help.

The current files are located at http://www.unifans.org/

    Hi all :)

I've just discovered this site, and I think maybe I've found the possibility of a good, old-school "space trek" game. I've seen there're some downloadable files of rules, and I'd like to know which one would you advise me to choose. What I'm looking for is a basic game that covers the general assumptions of the space sci-fi genre (mostly "Firefly" flavor).

Am I at the right place here? If so, what should be my first baby steps?

    Thanks in advance.

I've just make the first pre-alpha version of the Second Sathar War (SSW) game program I've mentioned to a few of you available for testing. Full details can be found on the starfrontiers.org site here http://www.starfrontiers.org/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=64

I wanted to talk about my primary projects and let everyone know what the plans are and field any questions people might have regarding any of those materials.

Okay, I want to include a section in the Traders and Freighters Guidebook on Pirates and Privateers, and I want to know what you all want to see there. I couldn't justify a full book on the subject, but I can definitely see making a pretty substantially sized section in this book on the subject.

The Traders and Freighters Guidebook covers commerce and trade in the Frontier as it affects your game and will even provide rules for a boardgame of corporate conquest (yet to be designed).

I want to enhance the Dralasite's Lie Detection ability for the AER. It is clear that many find this ability to be little used if at all, so I'd like to discuss how to expand the ability more to make it more useable.

How can you see the Dralasite Lie Detection ability being expanded? d20 Future expresses their ability by giving them a +2 (+10 in SF) bonus to "Sense Motive".

I'm looking for people to make the computer/robotics information from both Alpha Dawn and Zebulon's Guide agree with modern understanding of computers and robots in a unified system for the AER project. Post here if you are interested, or just start posting your ideas in the AER forums. You will be credited for contributing.

The key is to change the current mechanics as little as possible, and only where necessary, and perhaps being able to simplify it, but not complicate it.

As I mentioned in a post last week, I can't guess at what others are thinking, because...well...I'm not a psychic. Someone said that I "change and mix and match things too much to where they are unplayable". I need to know where this "unplayable" material is and how they know it's unplayable. Since no one has spoke up to identify the area of their complaint with evidence, I have to now make a public request.

There seems to be some misunderstandings concerning my views of Star Frontiers that I would like to clear up, but before we get to that, I'd like to say something:

    Refer to: SECTOR 1: ABILITIES.

In the 25th Anniversary Edition Rulebook, when analyzing the use of abilities to assist in skills, I couldn't help but think that skills are not as much based on one's ability, but on their ability's modification of their training. I think optional modifiers is the best resolution. Note that I say "optional". It's not something that would be hard coded, but offered as an option.
