![]() August 14, 2012 - 4:36pm | Well, my kids love Star Trek. They keep asking to see the recent movie with Chris Pines as Kirk. Its only fitting as I've been such a Star Trek fan for so long. But to be fair I think 75% of it is the baby being born on screen during a space battle (they're girls and that scene really appeals to them); the other 25% is probably the Romulans dropping the bug into Pike's mouth. One frustration is the 6 yr old's non stop questions though. Wonder if I should drop a dime on some DVD collections? ![]() August 14, 2012 - 8:19am | I'm getting ready to run the Beyond the Frontier series with my kids. (Except Mutiny - too slow for them). I had their characters join up with the Clarion Royal Marines, and plan on having them play out the last two parts of the series as crew members of the Osprey attatched to the Frontier Expiditionary Force. Problem is, the maps of the Eleanor Moraes are broken up on the back cover of the pdf. Does anyone have complete maps? I have been looking to no avail since yesterday. Also, any pics of what the hull frame looks like would be extremely helpful. Thanks everyone... |
August 12, 2012 - 11:16pm | I know I read somewhere about a renegade zuraqqor hiding in a nebula. I thought it was in the adventure forum but cannot find it. Does anyone know what I am talking about and where it is? |
![]() August 11, 2012 - 8:25am | I was just reading over the Gorilian article in SFman #8. Does anyone use them in their campaign? Any thought on where they would come from? |
![]() August 11, 2012 - 4:04am | this comment was in another thread and I thought it would make a good discussion.
B5 was a favorite of mine for a long
time. I see it as a different twist on Star Trek, Star Wars type themes.
I think that Firefly has more elements of Star Frontiers than other
sci-fi shows or games. It has the same frontier feel, and at the same
time a "civilized" society. It just doesn't have any of our favorite
alien characters in it. Bring out you aliens, Your favorite aliens I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
![]() August 9, 2012 - 1:07pm | was bouncing around DA and found this image: http://antenociti.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2e3sc1 remided me of the messed up Games Workshop Ogre Kingdom's figures I got hosed on an ebay auction over. Think I'll go look for the box and work on a conversion of one to be the malthar. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

![]() August 7, 2012 - 2:11pm | ![]() Brandy Smith is missing somewhere in the frontier. We believe she is working spacer dives around the outskirts of civilization as a singer. If you have seen her contact the nearest Star Law agency. Artwork by w00t! |
