 June 25, 2012 - 8:28pm | Wondering if anyone ever played Space Opera and your thoughts on it? my research suggest its treatment of computers is even more dated then SF's very interesting that 3 of the character classes were labeled scientist of one sort or another, and the other classes were armsman and astronaut. Player character creation is reputed to take an hour but without the possibility of death as in Traveller. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

 June 17, 2012 - 2:21pm | Hello everyone. I've been lurking round here a bit and figured I'd join in. I played Star Frontiers (and other RPGs) when I was a kid and now am starting a campaign with my own kids. This site has been so great to get resources together - so thanks. I've been using RP Map Tool to act as a virtual map board, and so far it's working well. My kids don't have any idea what they're in for lol... Jim |

June 17, 2012 - 3:21am | Whatever happened to this promise? This was the last statement in the two part article series in the Polyhedron mag on big ships in Star Frontiers. Did this just not happend because he ran out of time when the Star Frontiers product was discontinued of did I miss something and there is some really interesting Polyhedron material floating around out their? If you like social-networks where you control who can see your posts consider joining and adding the Star Frontiersman page. Let's spread the word! I also run Star Frontiers games using the Hangout feature and have recently started using Tabletop Forge which is specially designed for running games online. No more VTT! |
