I never did play enough games of Star Frontiers back in the 80s. The players always wanted to play AD&D instead. Recently I've started to do solitary fantasy role play games. Now that I know what I'm doing and like the random format of the adventures I've decided to do a Star Frontiers campaign using the Alpha Dawn Basic Rules with a few add-on rules of my own to give it a bit more depth.

You can read about it on my blog. Hope you like it:

What if an infection was intelligent?

It plays out as a standard infection the first time the players encounter it so the Doc PC applies a shot of omnicyn from his med kit and rolls a skill check.

The intelligent infection goes/thinks, "What was that?" and self evolves/changes in response.

Stuff happens ie the PCs have a regular adventure and afterwards there is another round of the "intelligent infection" same symptoms but it now carries a penalty to cure (-5 or -10)

Not in Kansas Anymore is purely a working title.
TITLE NOW CHANGED TO PARDON THE THIEF

Kicking around an adventure idea inspired by Season 1 Episode 1 of The Walking Dead where Rick wakes up from a coma in an abandoned hospital to a world radically changed and he has to figure out what is going on and tries to locate his family.

I'm looking at this as a solo adventure but it does not have to be.

Popular on worlds like Clarion the inertia umbrella is an adaption of the inertia screen technology.

Its a pole with a minipowerclip (Zebs 10 SEU)
It projects a meter diameter screen like an umbrella and will repulse rain at the cost of 1 SEU/hour.

I have been digging deeply in checmical engines and system ships in general for KH.  Everything is still handwritten.  I would like to get some review.  Is this a good place to post it?

Was thinking of the screening test for skin jobs in Blade Runner

Could a screening for exposure to either Sathar or sathar hypnotism be developed? Star Law and the mega corps would be highly interested in this.

I have had my 3D printer going while I am working from home so I have been searching Thingiverse for things.  Printing Studio Ghibili themed cookie cutters to entertain the kids with baking after the day of school from home is done.

Ive located a solve the outbreak game on the CDC website and I'm adapting it as an MSO adventure for Star Frontiers.

This page had previous discussion on this idea: https://www.starfrontiers.us/node/9614

RPGs work well with conflict ie combat so to just have doctors and scientists solving issues is perhaps potentially boring.

Spit balling here without access to a rule book while at the dog park with the fat dog.

Had a thought for a alpha numeric robotic classification like that of Star Wars.

Letter code to identify type S for Service, C for combat, H for hunter killer, etc.

Number for the robot level 1-6

Letter code for body type: A for anthropomorphic, S for standard, H Or D for Heavy duty, C for tin can half sized robot body introduced in The FE #?.
