Page 86 of the PDF last question is a challenge from a fan to TSR concerning the zethra converting matter to energy

The answer is estensive and interesting

    1. it creates a whole division of PGC called PGIC Pan Galactic Information Central

PGIC apparently migh classify some information confidential or top secret?

Had this idea and wonder what folks think:

All Rim Species crew on a CFM ship (one was detailed in the second issue of the FE I believe ( if not second then the 3rd issue- it was that first year we were publishig)

Mission is one thing- CFM ships are like Air National Guard and can be activated for missions and with heightened sathar activity a CFM merchant captian has his ship activated to scout and monitor the Zebulon system (it has a different name for the Rim Coalition).

Kicking around a PbP campaign based on a D&D 1e PbP I'm playing in.

The GM set up a limited setting: map, NPCs, sand box like adventure hooks and allowed a sizable number of Players in. Multiple expeditions going on at the same time because PCs were able to pursue the plot threads they wanted.

How to do that with Star Frontiers?

limited setting would be one star system. But you'd want a lot of detail for players to wander around and pursue plot threads they are interested in.

Using Reapers Brain in a Jar as inspiration for this

My Idea was a sci fi/ Star Frontiers adaption of the D&D beholder

Creepy creature monster paired with lots of different capabilities- most of which are from technology but also rolling on a table for a mentalism ability.

I've long wanted to shake things up by adding some cosmic horror alien creatures to the setting. Not necessarily the big octo-faced guy, but beings like that would be an interesting way to add a whole new element to the creatures/races. Cults groups may actually be worshiping beings with the ability to influence the world/setting (either through guiding other followers or hyper advanced technology or "magical powers"). The setting could decend into a X-Files meets Dead Space kind of thing pretty easily by doing this though.
