(see digitial remastered Zebs page 22)
Zebs characteristics for humma states: hermaphroditic, vivaporous reproduction

It later explains: "Young humma are female. After they have borne a single child (all humma bear one child in their lifetime) they change into males. When humma approach 170 years of age they undergo another change into a neuter stage and remain neuter until death."

The problem is, "How does the population grow?"
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I'm going by memory here, but if I recall correctly both Sathar Wars were depicted mostly as space wars. Has anyone thought about Landfleet's involvement in these wars, or has expanded the details of these wars to include information about any major battles fought planet side between the UPF and the worms. I'd love to find out if any material on this exists or if anyone has come up with ideas for what was happening on various worlds, while Sathar and UPF fleets clashed in space.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever considered at what point does Star Frontiers stop being Star Frontiers. Is it when the rules are changed (as WOTC did when they added the core 4 races into D20 future) or is there something else, beside game mechanics, that makes Star Frontiers special?

These are another group of Aliens that can be found within the expanded Frontier. These races are very different from one another in attitude with one being geared for war, one being geared for...er...diplomacy, and one geared for mayhem. I hope you find them enjoyable.

I am currently seeking advice on how to best approach a project in this wonderful place and how to best make the rule set that I talk overmuch about available to those interested in actually seeing or playing in my sandbox, (without stepping on the toes of anyone who might have some objection to my adapted rules or the material therein, even though there is no intent by me of making a profit on these rules as they stand). Anyway that being said, I thought I might share a little bit more of the content of these rules with you. So here is a glance at the core planets of the Frontier.

Looking for some opinions on SF0: Crash on Volturnus.  If you were going to run the entire Volturnus series, would you keep the dungeon crawl through the caverns in SF0 or skip it to move things along?  IIRC the only purpose of it is to give the players more experience and stretch out the adventure.

Just a thought but could the star Frontier's Clikks really be the same creatures as in Alternity (Another TSR product) in which case it would be feasable to expand the frontier using the Star Drive game system. I saw a Frontiersman article that presented the Alternity races in Star Frontier's terms (great article by the way) and perhaps the Klikks and the other externals are the tetriarch societies that were mentioned in zebs guide.

I was wondering if anyone had put any thought to the kind of games, or sports that would be popular among the races in the Frontier. It might be interesting as background perhaps to say that T'Kal'tik (a Vrusk) was the Vrusk equivalent of a sport champion in his corporate league, And Yamon Growl (A Yazirian) retired from Professional Vacuum gliding.

I have been thinking about the different ages throughout the Frontier and the different ages of science fiction to help get the feel for each time period, and to help establish the sort stuff you would find with each of them.

That is, The Age of Discovery - as noted in the Zeb book - is an early period of space exploration, where many fortunes are made, and many expeditions lost... I imagine this era like Forbidden Planet and Lost in Space, with cramped submarine-like interiors, crude instruments, slide rulers, and chrome-silver everything!
