![]() August 26, 2016 - 12:00am | Jurak Hangna is searching the frontier for the most dangerous and interesting flora and fauna. If any frontiersmen here have photos, sketches, or renderings they have created he would appreciate the honor of investigating and writing about them. Please pass you art to me and any message you may have for Jurak and I will see that he gets it. Thank you, -iggy |

Looking at the Ancient Eorna and the Zebulon System One of the favorite topics it seems on the starfrontiers.us website appears to be the Volturnus modules, the Eorna and their “starspawn.” Joe Cabadas |
![]() August 16, 2016 - 9:36pm | SF has been on my mind again lately. Most likely because I have been back playing Eve Online and other Sci-Fi space games. Like the rest of you I will never be content with how SF was left hanging in deep space with no chance of the distress call being received by anyone who cares to answer. As such we were left to fend for ourselves, and as how the rest of the classic games have been re-written and messed over. I think I am happy that SF is left in its Frozen Stasis. Suspended in deep space for us to enjoy it how it was Cogito ergo sum; I think therefore I am. Batty [Blade Runner] I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die. |

![]() August 10, 2016 - 5:33pm | I was reading up on blue dwarf stars specifically and its said these are only theoretical as the universe is not old enough for a red dwarf to evolve into a blue dwarf let alone the white and black stages of a red dwarf's life cycle. AD disconnects the setting from the Milky Way; so can we not imagine the setting in this universe to be old enough to contain blue dwarfs? I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
![]() August 6, 2016 - 11:47am | Just took the girls to Museum of Science and saw the displays on the RoboBee and Robo Cheetah. Very cool stuff. Couldn't help but wonder about down the line what's next? (In other words if RoboBees are cutting edge today what would they have in the Frontier?) I'm envisioning 10 mm single purpose robots printed with a 3D printer and solar cell coating to supplement a battery and deployed in small swarms. Pollinating fields where normal pollinators have suffered colony collapse or on new colonies to ensure proper crop pollination. ![]() August 5, 2016 - 4:41pm | In New Hope when R2-D2 ran off and Luke is bemoaning how much trouble it ll cause him C3PO totally throws him under the bus. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
![]() July 23, 2016 - 9:20am | No spoiler in first post. 1. I have to say that I am disappointed. Seeing the trailers and realizing that after the very interesting introduction of the Klingons in the previous movie they were not going to be in this one. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
![]() July 19, 2016 - 4:58am | My cousin who is responsible for my love of RPGs is debuting a game at Gen-Con in August. He has created a game (living the dream) War in Vietnam. I have not seen the game myself (yet) as we live on opposite sides of the country currently. I will get a copy as soon as I can though. I hope everyone is doing well, just busy living & surviving right now, recovering from the worst sun burn I have had in over 20 years... so not fun... mental note put sunscreen in all cars in case one ends up in the desert in the sun for 3 hours.
