Gagh a live worm food. Ones intended to be eaten are first fed on diluted blood (which they do not find appealing but eat anyway to avoid starving), the type of animal blood effects flavor. When served the worms are poured into various herbal thick sausces that are flavourable and the worms find irrestable but are toxic to the worms. The gagh is consumed while it is still alive but dieing from the toxin in all the sauces. To eat one bites down on them killing them and releasing thee flavorful blood... if you do not kill them and they survive the toxin they can become a parasite in the intestinal tract.

Bithool gagh: still has "feet"
Torgud gagh: wiggles down the throat
Filden gagh: the sort that squirms down the throat
Meshta gagh: able to jump
Wistan gagh: packed in Targ Blood

Gagh is eaten by a sea creature called the pochtoQs

Killed gagh is heated into a stew (Left over gagh)

Racht is smaller than Gagh and should be served alive as well. Racht is also candied. Live Racht is often served with Grapok sauce. (Grapok sauce is also served with gagh).

Not from ST but Bab 5 & She-Ra Princess of Power

Spoo: Made from Spoo worms tastes like "meat jello, served chilled"

spoo are tiny, pasty, mealworm-like creatures that travel slowly in herds. Their main behavior is sighing, which "can reportedly induce unparalleled bouts of depression" in other creatures. They are raised on ranches and harvested through "whacking". Spoo are regarded with contempt. Despite this, they are "generally considered the most delicious food in all of known space"

"Spoo: The other gray meat"

Some species prefer fresh Spoo others aged Spoo

In the long running and now defunct PbEM Star Frontiers game there were some food items created: http://www.technomage.com.au/U.P.F/index.html It's very difficult to locate these links within the techno mage website, which now seems to be part of a web ring but here's one on vrusk food: http://www.webring.org/l/rd?ring=starfrontiers;id=7;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Etechnomage%2Ecom%2Eau%2FU%2EP%2EF%2Findex%2Ehtml
