Gamma Dawn supplement is concerned mainly with just mutation skills, but if one is running a day after or 100 years after the end of civilization as PCs would have known it sort of story line, then one needs to consider what skills would be avilable to PCs.

So links to how other people have done it and ideas on what the skill set should look like that PCs can choose from.

Perhaps a 2 tier skill system where more advanced skills can be purchased for more and player background is PC is son of a Tinker, who's father before him was a Tinker and the great grandfather was a legendary thing called an Engineer . otherwise more primitive skills easier to come buy. 
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!
