Description: This is a few adventures for starting characters. They are hired by GVMPI, which is owned by Streel Corporation. This is only a few to begin with. As time goes on, the team gets subcontracted to Streel.

Something to consider- limiting this to just the GVMPI limits the scope of the project. You might consider making the wording more broad and allow for anyone to start a thread and work on an adventure.

Its a good idea though. Yet beginning SF characters are not as fragile as beginning D&D characters still a good idea.

I would focus on this this from two different angles:
1. Beginning character- which is what I interpret the original intent of the project to be
2. Beginning player ie someone totally new to Star Frontiers- focus of the adventure is to convey some basic information about the Frontier to the player

I would also consider doing this from the perspective of a beginning adventure for just one character run immediately after character gen and from the perspective of a adventure run to explain how the "group" of PCs formed or came to know each other.

yeah I guess I've invested some thought along these lines of late so good move forming the project.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

The idea was to have the group recruited by a Corp right at the start. You could substitute any company but, I just picked GVMPI. This was a "Corporate Man" type of idea. I have some information on Truane's Star and Dixon's Star. The intial idea is to use this area.

I like the "initial" solo idea. This would be good to form the group. I had two groups - one was GVMPI and the other had no affiliation. The GVMPI group was a little easy. The Liason contacted each one and set a meeting. The group was formed (5 total). The next mission, the liason did it again. The players then started to realize "this is our team". I had them go on the Lacos mission with the Scientists but, the Scientists wanted more then 5 guards.

They hired another group of four, for additional support. This team was more difficult. They came from Cassadine, White Light, Dramune and Prenglar - all over and they had to be brought to Lacos. Some just hopped a ship. One Yazirian had to help some miltiamen stop several criminals from escaping. One had to stop a rampaging alien beast. Then, the passenger liner was ambushed by pirates.

It is just the mechanics and thinking out, that needs to be done to pull the teams together. The groups above had to deal with sinkholes, Clikks ambushing the scientists and helping a wily hermit miner. It was interesting to say the least.

Just posted a supplement to AC - The War Machine. Introduction of the Oduvu’urian race. It also adjusts the time it takes for the FEF to reach the system.
