 April 12, 2020 - 5:22pm | Alpha Dawn character creation Starting Characters begin with Standard clothes, ID card, Chronocom 250 + 1d100 Cr starting money AND 1 free tool kit or a free skein suit for Military PSA characters. use the character sheet here: NOTE: the character sheet does not automatically apply your racail ability bonuses- you will have to do that; it rolls them it just wont apply the changes so manually enter those changes as well as the allowed transfer of points between ability pairs. and then copy the web address line for your character and post it in the PC thread EDIT: make sure that the first line of your background says: "EXP: " If your character has an extra ability or bonus from his back ground make that the next line of the Background then write your story. April 12, 2020 - 5:42pm | Starting characters gain a little something extra by incorporating a suggested background from this document: Also Yazirian characters may alternately roll for a clan on in the Yazirian Clan document in Star Frontiersman #8 They cannot take a tangible benefit from both this document and the Clan article; only one is allow but they may get a clan name and symbol and forego the benefit from the clan article and take the tangible benefit from the suggested back grounds document what is important is only taking one background benefit. Character creation can gain you 3 EXP that can immediately be spent if you desire. Having a character portrait = 1 EXP Writing a character background that roots your character in the setting= 1 EXP Writing a secret about your character and revealing it to the game referee= 1 EXP You will need to message me the secret your wrote about your character and be sure that your login this site allows for emails from other members. Official Turn advances will occur on Saturday or Sunday- Saturday for now but when the COVID thing goes away I will most likely need till Sunday every other weekend. Wed can be a turn advance if everyone has posted I imagine when schedules change in the future that a Wed turn advance may be too ambitious. But to start Wed and Saturday for turn advance. Edit: FYI Dont sweat the limited equipment you are starting with. the Job interview is at Galacial Station which is the last stop on the monorail from Point True, Pale, Truane's Star. Also at Galacial Station is Kumoo's Army Surplus Supply. Kumoo is famous for detesting Pan Galactic Corporation and refuses to purchase anything from them directly but does a brisk business in new and used military surplus. He has great prices and your prospective employer will be sending you there to stock up before departing Galatial Station.
