I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I'm thinking it should confer 18 or even 19 STR (in D&D terms) count as +1 weapon and do at least 1d10 damage with a special ability to open doors like a can opener.

cursed version: your arms meld to/become the claws, at which point the character will find it impossible to clothe or feed himself or perform similar tasks that require manual dexterity of the hands.

Spirit of the wolf hood
An enchanted pelt/hood

wearing this magical hood as a hat or a helmet cover affords the character positive reactions by wolves. Wild wolves will not attack. Roll d6: 1-2 friendly, 3-4 neutral toward character, 5-6 aggressive but leaves area creating space between character and pack. Character can communicate with wolves. Rangers wearing this item and seeking to attrack an animal companion will always attrack a wolf.

Spirit of the Warg hood.
Ability to communicate with wargs. A lone character wearing this item and encountering wargs w/o goblin riders will never be attacked by wargs. If a character wearing this item is in a party of adventurers the wargs will not attack the first round- treat as surprised. If they are not attacked they must roll a morale check to initiate an attack. If Wargs are ridden by goblins they must give up the first round of attack then may attack on the second round at the goblins urgings.

Cursed version: causes wolves or wargs to seek out the wearer.

Magical door spike
Upon command, ususally the word spike in a particular language, this item will magically drive itself into the space between a door and its jam without the use of a hammer and will do it silently. It seals a door shut much like regular iron spikes except this time it's a magical not mechanical hold. To open the door one must give the proper command, usually unspike, cast dispel magic, or make a STR check  against 18.

Exploding door spike
Another magical door spike that will seat into the space between the door and the door jam with one tap of a hammer. This one tap of the hammer activated the magic requiring a STR check of 15 to open but when the door opens the spike falls to the floor and explodes causing 1d10 magical explosion damage to all creatures within 5' and 1d5 to all creatures within 10'.

Cursed door spike
This item is usually found with a number of other regular spikes (3 or more). When used it causes extra noise to attract wandering monsters that the player characters will not hear and it automatically comes loose the minute a door is tried. If detect magic reveals that it is magical a INT check 20 will reveal it to be cursed otherwise the caster will identify it as one of the other spikes.

The Crab Claws of Calaban should have a reach feature- able to reach into the second square from the user. Can be used to grip and hold an opponent 2 squares away from the user causing 1d10 worth of damage per turn until the opponent makes a successful STR check beating a 15.

Greaves of Grass +1

Magical leather and steal arm greaves of Elvish design. Made of comfortable supple leather that magically adjusts to the size of any wearer, these greaves appear to have steal blades of grass growing from a decorative matal ornament on the leather. The wearer may pluck one blade per combat round and throw it for 1d4 damage. Upto 6 "blades" grow on each greave and the greaves replenishes them daily. These blades count as a magical weapon in combat. If the character attempts to use them in melee he must save vs 10 to avoid slicing his own fingers or hands for 1 hp with each successful attack roll since them lack a handle and are primarily desigend as a thrown weapon.

A rare +2 version exists that allows the user to pluck and throw two blades per combat round.

A tech version:

Self-Driving Spikes. These devices have federanium-tipped plastisteel spike. It consists of a driver base, poweredby a 2 SEU microdisc. With the press of a button -- which is on top of the base -- the spike can be driven into most surfaces without the use of a hammer. It will make a loud popping sound when doing so.

Depending upon the surface, the spikes can hold up to 1,000 kg of weight. Multiple spikes may increase that holding power exponentially. To remove the spike, the operator needs to press the button five times in rapid succession.
