The Shaman Shipbuilding Co.'s first foray into building giant ships seems to have been a success. The MP-354 Carrier Cruiser is the most advanced carrier in the known Frontier at the moment. Its modified frame contains 4 bays on the top of the ship for four fighter squadrons of five ships apiece. On the sides of the ship, there are six smaller bays for either six squadrons of three fighters or one squadron of six assault scouts. On top of all this weaponry, the carrier cruiser can fire any of its twelve energy beam batteries, as well as two rotating cannons. Built on new technologically advanced gimbels, these cannons can fire both forward and backward, making enemy vessels think twice before attacking this behemoth. In times of peace, the fighter bays can be emptied out and used as cargo bays holding 30 units of cargo. In addition, the ship can be used as a floating research vessel, as it contains both a medlab and a research lab.
