Fight Night?

I read somewhere that you can build up commanders by having fleet fights between alliance members.  I'd like to test this.  If it works well, then we could do a fight night where we circle some SY and put fleets in the middle to beat on each other.  Do a round robin of who gets to attack who.  when we are depleated of ships the fight night is over and we talk SF.  We could talk SF the whole time and have this go on in the background.

My next combat will put me over 15K EXP looking forward to see if that changes my bonus.

side note- I'm down to 300K crew in the silos. I suddenly cant keep up and have very few crew planets, I might need to invest in those resource stations and the tech that improves crew collection.

also the next station I'm allowed to build will be a factory and since we're spending so much time at the hill perhaps we might create a factory cloud there?

Yes, I'm drawing down my crew as well but slowly enought I can keep it with occasional trades from ore and credits that are still running high.

As to factories, mine is just over to the right from the current hill.  I can definitely move it over if we want.

Kraxan and I have our factories over at (1989,2693) and (1997,2698).  We have not done any trading between each other.  I could move mine.  It will be a long haul to get there.

You menyioned you needed a new crew world.  There is an Omega crew at (424,2258).  I have sent a fleet there to grab it for you if you want it.  The fleet will arrive at about 5:50 am Eastern time.  Let me know if you want me to hold it for you.

You dont have to hold it for me, I'm going to develop the stations on the two omega crew worlds that I have - I've just finished moving stations to energy worlds from credit worlds to support greater fighter operations.

Well the zombie farm is driving my 8th fleet commander up to a leader bonus of 40% and I'm making great exp on the king of the hill game. I've noticed that when my tech is lower then the defender's tech I make 600-800 EXP on an attack. I Might switch over to fighters that have an even lower tech like the zinger or crusader for king of the hill and for the zombie farm activities. In addition zingers take the least ammount of crew to build.

Tom just wiped out 486 zingers with 80 collosi and I got 468 EXP I should be over 20K with that commander soon.

20,000 EXP is the point where your commander goes to 8 stars 55% leader bonus and the ability to put 800 ships into one fleet.

Tim says that there will be kappa and lambda planets and stars added in the next few days.  We should watch for a proper hill/factory cloud object to claim.

Hhhhm , we should claim some but for resources, establish a hill or factory cloud at one sure but it would be a waste to have control of such a property and not mine it.

woo-hoo! 9 stars and 60%, and the last combat I was at 55% so thankyou Tom for putting me over 35,000 EXP! I like getting beat on by your Collosii class ships as the higher tech keeps my EXP up.

My commander is at 61,201 XP, 10 stars, 65% bonus.  I use him for two fights with Swingers to be weaker and get good XP then I do two fights with Collosus to be fare and give you guys good XP.  When he reaches 75,000 XP he will level to 11 stars, 70% bonus which is the max bonus and I will switch to one of my other commanders who are all 6 star, 45% bonus.  This way I can get all of my turret commanders beefed up and have a couple of fleet commanders who are monters.

Yep just made 50k exp for my top guy and went 65% with fleets of 840

Lets hope that if we ever have to defend ourselves the fact that we hit an aggressor with numerous fleets of over 800 ships give him pause

My #1 commander is now at 70,205 on his way to 75,000 where the commander bonus will max out at +70%.  I'll stop him there and work on getting all the other commanders leveled up.  I have noticed in the king of the hill game that tech is worth more than commander bonus.  I just finished maxing my RS attack/defense tech to 25.  I'm now maxing my SY A/D to 25.  After that I will take the juggernaught A/D to 25 as they are my defense force.  After that I'll probably max the collosus to 25/25,then the swingers to 25/25.  I have felt that lower tech ships gain more XP fighting higher tech ships so I might switch my king of the hill ships to something other than collosus and swingers after they hit 25/25.  Likely I'll choose a ship with low energy cost so I can make lots of them to fill max fleet sizes sooner by allowing me to be constantly building.  Right now I have just enough energy budget to make an 840 swinger fleet then I fight it and start another build right after the fight.  I'd like to have the build going non-stop.  I want to maximize the XP return on ships used in the fight.  Right now I get some small fraction over 1XP per ship used.  I'd like to see if I can get that up to 1.5 or 2.

BTW, after I leveled the SY I built up by jedion's omega yellow (the one we fought over) so that it was on par with my other SY, my build time went to 1m 8s.  I want all of my energy RS leveled to 20/8/20/20.  After that I'll work on the SY to see if my build time will go down more.  I may have to make the hull level 9 rather than 8 to get the others to 20.  Has any one found out what the minimum hull level is to get 20 in collect, attack, and defense?

@ iggy: yeah its looking like crusaders are a good choice for the energy budget though with my tech being so low I dont thing Tom is making out on the EXP.

I'm doing okay but probably not as well as you guys.  Although I'm still typically getting >1 xp per ship lost but usually not by much.  I'll probably shift to some of my low tech ships occasionally as well.

My first commander, Otho1, has now made 11 stars, 860 max fleet size, +70% bonus.  Now I have a bunch of commanders to  bring up to level 7.  I'll put Otho1 guarding something valuable with a SY near by that he can recall into action when needed.

My first two fights with Tom S. were essentially 2 XP per ship used.  I suspect that the drop in the third fight XP is because I had nocked Tom S. to 522 ships and there must be a table the XP algorithm check for fleet size against fleet size.

I am curious how each of you scored XP against my very weak ships.

My 640 ships got me 932 xp

I have seen the ratio of ~2 xp per ship lost when working with crusaders, collusus, and swingers.  The problem is the magnitude is not as hi.  You loose fewer ships and thus take longer to gain xp.  I may not use crusaders anymore because it does not advance both sides as quickly.

Ahh... I now have two commanders that can controll fleets of 800+

I have to think that if we ever needed to go to war arranging for timed attacks by all of us feilding 2 fleets of 800+ ships would have to give someone pause.

In a few days my tech on collosi will be at 20/20 and I'll switch to Swingers tech or to speed tech for Collosi, Swingers, & SY

I must have missed the notice of a change in game for how fast you could build a fighter, but I just began to lower mine agian- had had not been upgrading my fleets on my SY once I maxed out on the build time in the past but I've now gotten it down to 1 minute per fighter, not sure how much lower it can go but will keep plugging on that.

Bring it on boys, I need to chew through 2,500 to 3,000 fighters to reach 125K EXP. So if I can blow through 920/ day for 3-4 days the commander should roll over to the new ship count.

I hit you with 840 fighter each day, but it takes 14 hours to rebuild them.  I haven't yet gotten my ships back to maximum for my energy level.  I like to be maxed out on ships so that I am prepared incase something happen and I am also free to go titan hunting if one is near by.  I also need to be chasing comets to recoup my usage.

I'm gonna build another SY to hopefully get my build times bellow 60 seconds.  I will have a build coming up in about three and a half weeks.
