Is there a value to maxing out all the stations' stats?

Anyone know if there is a value to fully maxing out a station?

For example I've maxed the research level of my 3 research stations and on the lead one maxed the defense and attack values all at 12 but the hull level didn't actually need to be maxed as it was high enough to max out the other 3 values. So other than possibly reflectiong power level and I guess figuring into the overall ammount of station upgrades to unlock another slot for another station I dont see the value to maxing out a station so that it has solid 12 across the board (12 is the highest upgrade level for the research station)

that then brings me to the point of once you ship build time is down to the lowest possible I guess you only need to focus on attack and defense values for SY and hull level as needed to increase those values.

or is there something I'm missing and I ought to pump up a station across the board?
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

The only real reason I can think of is to get the upgrades to build more stations.  Otherwise, just push them as high as you need them.

For resource, shipyards, and silos I am pushing to 15/6/15/15.  That 6 for hull might have to go to 7 or more but I don't upgrade hull unless forced to.  I already have a resource station as high as 14/7/9/15 and I have a silo at 15/7/8/15 where I took them to 7 hulls before I committed to holding hulls at 6 until forced.  I have yet to be forced beyind 6 on a hull.  I stopped my research stations at 11 research and am pushing the attack and hp up to 15.  I have 8 research stations to get the max 66% research bonus.  You can push research beyond 11 but the math does not work out past 66%.  The trading station is the only station I know of that maxes before 15 and that is for trades that it maxes at 10.

I'm missing the low tech upgrades because I have not done any of those since I got to 8 research stations at 11 research level to get me the 66% bonus.  I believe tech upgrades stop at level 18.

Research stations max out at 12 on the research level.  I have 7 at level 12 for a research bonus of 64% and decided not to build an 8th to get the last 2 percent.

I wasn't paying close attention when I just started building my Collection Maximizers tech but it was something like this (this is with the 66% research bonus):

Finally got my 7th Research station.

Looking forward to driving the research % past 72%.

I've been upgrading all the low Hull levels on many on my sesource stations which were around 7-8 in order to trigger a new station slot for building. Upgrading from 7 to 8 takes less than an hour and I was hoping to get this station built soon.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!
