Rather than specify one iteration of Star Trek I suppose all are welcome so that we dont need multiple threads; TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, & Enterprise

I will say this, though, STD has a recent discussion thread and I'd rather leave discussion of if for that thread lest I vomit a little in my mouth.

Sometimes things just come together -

was sick and not feeling well and this phrase popped into my head- the Apothic Phrophesy or The Apothic Verse

I googled the meaning of Apothic and came up with beautiful or stunning as one possible meaning

This was interesting: The Beautiful Prophesy
I thought for sure I had heard or seen Apothic Prophesy from somewhere but couldn't place it or google it.

And today (still un well and idly convalescing with the internet) I come across this:

If it happens in the real world why not the Frontier?

Example 230 foot wide crater in Turkmenistan that Soviet Scientists thought they could burn off the escaping methane in a few days but instead its burned for 40 years.

Like I said, I can't draw so I thought I would give this a try. Let me know what you think and if you want to see any more and what you think I should do with it. Constructive critizism is appreciated otherwise I may just ignore it. Some of the jokes may fall flat but I hope none are offensive. I should mention this is a 13 strip series and all have been completed.
Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go?

Just priming the pump here in case anyone has an idea they'd like to submit to the zine

    Issue 23
seems to be shaping up for a Clarion station theme or a derelict ship theme
at least thats what it looks like based off of whats in the submission cue. Anyone have something on Clarion station they'd like to put togehter as a quick article in the next couple of weeks.

There was some interesting discussion on mechanics of the station's spin and justifying the KHs map of Clarion station against the details in the various canon sources. that could be an article

From a distant future comes a time travelling mechanon or a classic SF hunter killer robot seeking out the player characters for termination.

It seems that in the future a coalition of evil mechanons, sathar, and the super computer behind the NET megacorp have taken over the Frontier turning the populations of whole colonies into slave bots.

The leaders of the resistance are the PCs or their descendants.

a good mechanon also comes back in time to provide the future "back" story.

I've seen topics for other things here, but haven't seen any one here talkin about the Orville. To which some on the internet seem to think of it as the true inheritor of Star Trek's legacy, while trying to stay original. It's not a total parody, but when you have the crew doing the same stupid things any of us do either in real life or in a role playing game. Seth McFarlane has this show going over pretty well.
In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

My neice has driven me nuts with panic over: TSa only looks for bombs and terrorist in the ways they've already seen not for bombs and terrorist in the ways they "HAVEN'T seen" Question says I, "How do you look for something you've never seen?" Since TSA fails in screening tests and they don't actually screen for the next method of bombing her solution is as close as I can understand it: get rid of TSA.
