I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Seeing as how there were a goodly number of seasons of the JAG TV show it only makes sense to rippoff their scripts for adventure ideas. The Details about Clarion station were greatly expanded in last years FE zine.

    Need a JAG symbol/patch.
basic emblem in US services is this and its bland enough that you could use it.

the various services use a variation on this for their patch:

I will be popping in more and will be starting to work on stuff again. It is crazy right now with everything going on, but I plan to introduce the kids (my niece and nephew) to SF probably using FS rules. Will be looking over how to convert the module. The kids now live with me.

In conducting my research on landmines, I started looking into demolitions as well and found a lot of useful information on this topic.

So, instead of trying to write a combined story on explosives -- such as kaboomite -- and mines, I'm planning to create them as separate stories.

Here now, is a look at expanding the demolition skill and adding some other explosives.

Think about- this is a good way to start- agency has hired starting PCs, but also has NPCs on hand as needed. Most of the modules like Bugs, Dark Side, and even Dramune can be modified to this. Player doesn't show for game and its just he wasn't available for this assignment.

L'appel did vibe- French for "call of the void"

French idiom for when you're tempted to jump off a cliff but don't.

Also a movie from the 40s about a man trying to win back the woman he loves from the cop who stole her.

Void & Void jumping- the Star Frontiers wrinkle on hyper space.

I love the turn of phrase "Call of the Void" its like "Dark Side of the Moon" or "Bugs in the System" it begs you to name an adventure after it.

Update: Since I've submitted a story about Sathar vehicles to Frontier Explorer, I'll rededicate part of this discussion to looking at how Sathar troops are presented in the various TSR modules and any fan-created adventures that I've seen.

The picture below is from Starspawn of Volturnus... definitely a canon adventure.

One of the old projects on this site is called "SF-Sathar Wars."

It appears to offer a land battle system. I had noted from old posting that someone had tried developing "Ground Hawks," but any further evidence of that work seems to have been eliminated from here.

And this is a story that builds upon the previous four stories.

Note: This story will build upon Part 1: looking at grenades, Part 2: looking at rockets and missiles, and Part 3: looking at mines.

Dropped weapons -- i.e. bombs -- first appeared in Dragon magazine with the "Tanks a lot!" story and were later updated by Larry Moore for his vehicle combat article in Star Frontiersman magazine.

What I want to do here is flesh things out a bit more.
