![]() February 23, 2020 - 9:33pm | Anyone else watch the Picard Series and think why the hell didn't they get the writers for this series to work on the STD series????? I'm rather blown away by the Picard series and have quite gotten over my wife purchasing CBS all access. Some very good laughs and some nice moments like 7 of 9 showing up in the last episode I just watched. Some predictable stuff but not that big a deal, at least to me. Loving the writing of this and jsut noitices that Jonathan Frakes directed the episode with 7 of 9- nice touch. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

Covers everything from propulsion, to living quarters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4ddnrBT6hE&t=939s In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same. |
October 2, 2019 - 9:37am | How much damage is too much damage? I ask that question of myself as I am progressing with the stories of “Things that go boom!” This is especially true when I am trying to design statistics for a blast suit that can protect demolition specialists when they go to disarm unexploded ordnance. How much damage should large conventional bombs actually do? How would they compare to other, preexisting weapons in the game? Joe Cabadas |
October 1, 2019 - 2:17pm | What follows are things that haven't been able to fit into my other "Things that go boom!" story drafts. So, I will combine them and make a separate story. Joe Cabadas |
![]() September 11, 2019 - 5:36pm | I would like some help filling out a colony ship (ark type) cargo manifest. This ship is a desperate Hail Mary type of gambit. The human race is coming to a close on Earth and a special ark is prepared to take 500 select individual (in stasis) to the most likely planet able to host a colony. |
August 27, 2019 - 10:11am | Bap bins were introduced in Zebulon's Guide, but with very little information on how they can be effectively used. I've read many complaints about this, that it's introduced the Star Trek element into the game, but is that really a bad thing? Joe Cabadas |

![]() July 11, 2019 - 3:14am | Just caught the last 10 minutes of a Star Hunter Redux episode on El Rey network. My impression is low budget but the sets looked nice. I would characterize it as inspired by Firefly/Serenity but without the nicely cast ensemble cast of Firefly. Acting of the actors adds a certain cheese factor, direction and editing could have been better; cant critique the writing at this point other than the brief exposure makes me think that the writers are trying. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
![]() July 6, 2019 - 6:43am | Wings of War was a great WW1 arial combat game: diceless, rewarded smart tactical thinking, a lot of fun and the models looked great. Saddly the company went out of business and every knuckle head on ebay decided they had to recoop x3 the price for their games and model planes. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
![]() May 17, 2019 - 11:40am | Historical note: the Kugelpanzer is a ball tank design made in Germany and captured in Manchuria by the Red Army and no one knows what it was doing there. Just bought this $5 model from a 15mm sci fi game although the model is the right size to be a Legit Kugelpanzer for a 28mm scale miniature: I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
