Everyone, I have used a new product Microsoft Worldwide Telescope.  One of the quotes is Google Earth for Space.  This allows for viewing various stars from hubble and other photos.  I have downloaded several for my own use.  Just an FYI for everyone.

Bill, you and your family have my most sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one.  In recent times I have also experienced my share of grief (along with my family)... so I wish you all well, and assurance that with some time things will get better than they seem right now.

    peace

    Since Bill's a butterfingers... Wink

I mentioned before that I recently bought an Xbox 360 and have started playing Mass Effect.  Some of you mentioned that you liked the game, but I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on importing some of the concepts from Mass Effect into Star Frontiers.

Hey guys we need some submissions for the next issue. We really need some great art (very much so). Another thing that is in short supply at the moment are articles.... Please submit at the Star Frontiersman site. This allows for us to edit the material and have it ready for Bill to format it.

It seems a great deal of heat and not much light was generated concerning the orginial Battlestar Galactica, and...that other show.

Why don't we discuss them here, so we can return the other thread to fav SF movies.

I have just turned the last page of «Dies the Fire» (S.M. Stirling 2004 ROC). A good read all in all. Excellent post apocalypse description. The twist : All electronic devices and firearms are inoperable after a blinding white flash.

I'm looking for something else to read. SF mainly (hard, soft, anticipation)
    Your suggestions are welcomed.

My most enjoyable SF Book list:
1- The Player of Games (Ian M. Banks)
    2- Hyperion Trilogy (Dan Simmons)
3- Mars Trilogy (Kim Stanley Robinson)
4- When Gravity Fails (George Alec Effinger)
«Language is a virus from outer space» William S. Burroughs

Well its that time of the year again. The Stanley cup is at stake. Who will it be?
I'm a Canadians fan (GO! Habs* GO!) myself.

But that got me thinking. What about sports in the SF RPG? Any reference?
Have you created a «new» sport for your adventures in space?

    1- Space ship race (obvious)
2- Illegal arena fighting (a must)
    3- «input your suggestion here»

*Hockey history : «Habs» refers to a time when the Montreal Canadian was called «Les Habitants» or if you like «The Residents (?sounds funny in english?)».
«Language is a virus from outer space» William S. Burroughs

This is a message for Corjay as I’m sure he will visit the site at some point. I’m not annoyed at what he’s just done, but really disappointed. Did he feel that the whole community was against him? Only one person was aggrieved by his comments ( the other asked him to check his manner).

    Not an April Fools post.

This morning I just got home to find my dog has died only minutes ago (within 30 or so minutes prior to my arrival at home). I have just had the onerous task of figuring out what to do with her remains and trying to move her so my kids are not just sitting at the window staring at her (she died outside). She is a Great Dane (about as large as I am), so you can imagine the difficulty I am having trying to deal with her remains in a dignified way.

    Rest in Peace Maxine.
