I am concerened about the state of things with the Starfrontiersman. I hope that issue 9 is just around the corner.
I have finished and submitted an article and art for powered armor battle suits.

    Here is a preview.
I hope this inspires others to finish their projects and gets them submitted.

Standard powered armor battle suit for humans, Yazarians and Dralasites

I'm launching a new Star Frontiers web site called 'The Star Frontiers Network'. You can find it at http://starfrontiers.homelinux.net It will primarily be oriented to online games and software development but there will be a little bit of other stuff there as well. It's availability may be sporatic for the next week or so as it is still running on my laptop. I was supposed to have a new computer to run it on but ran into a minor technical problem and I'm tired of waiting to make this thing live.

Nice to see that there is some activity here yet. Hoping there is a way to play online? gameroom perhaps? if so, how do I join a game? could also use the rules, lost mine over the last 20+ years (haven't played since 1987). I tried the downloads site but keep getting a "page can not be found" message. Just an error? downloads being updated? been removed? big brother blocking their distibution? anyhow, would love to get involved. Hope to hear soon.

Happy Father's Day to those of you whom this applies!!

    Food for thought:

I'm not posting this as a member of the "Alpha Team", or attempting to drum up more traffic as Bill's friend.  I'm just posting this as me, and I'm wondering...

I have been away for a while.  Real life happened.

I will recommence my Terran History for the Star Opera project.  I think I still have the text files on my system.  Then again, I can always retrieve them from here...  :)

Looking forward, once again, to hearing your feedback...

Troll Lord Games is coming out with a sci-fi game called StarSiege: Event Horizon. It will use d20 type dice, and might even be compatible with Star Frontiers in some ways. I'll just have to wait and see.

Here is a link for the intro manual coming in June...
