Just played in a very cool "beer and pretzels" table top wargame recreating the RAF raid on the German ship Tirpitz in Norway WW2.
This was done buy the sister squadron that did the bouncing bomb blowing up the dam that got more publicity.
The bombs for the tirpitz raid were smaller versions.

the game ran with 12 players trying to navigate the Norwegian Fijord suppressing the flak lighters and setting up for the run on the Tirpitz. which had 12in of metal and tons of flak producers. the guy running it at the club had worked up this game for a convention.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Does anyone have some ideas or experience writing articles where readers are set in a situation. They then have to figure out a Situational Clue or How to Get Out of a Trap or Solve the Puzzle.

Slylock Fox is an example of a picture based Problem Solver Puzzle.

Some of you have submitted articles in the past that have not been
published in the webzine. This is, in part, due to my email program. I
either missed the submission or the attachment was blocked. I have
corrected the issue as of today.

*** In future issues you will see your submissions. ***

I apologize for this and I hope you keep submitting material. I've looked
at other webzines out there and I feel ours is by far one of, if not, the
best community driven zines (sometimes better than company zines you pay
    for).

A Note About Future Webzine Releases
In the future we will be combining the Star Frontiersman with FrontierSpace(TM). There will be more "meat" to each webzine and you should be able to easy convert stats and tech between the two.

@Woot: Didn't want to hijack your thread, so I started a new one.

If the SFMAN is now going to be covering the FrontierSpace(TM) RPG, is there a way we can acquire a copy of that RPG?

My Son (Zack) and I recently played a Knight Hawks battle with miniatures. We used rulers and protractors for movement. I have never played the game like that before. It was a lot of fun. Here are a few pics.

Zack is working all the angles.

yes, it is a petty question. It also runs the risk of exposing me as a computer imbecile...oops, too late...but how do I go about setting up an avatar for myself here? The link to avatar through the edit profile has not been active since I joined. Will that be fixed at any point in the near future? Is there another way for me to upload an avatar image that I have?

New here, btw...I had a small taste of SF about 15 years ago and loved it. But as I am sure most of you know, things change when college is over. However, my young children were snooping through boxes and found my Alpha Dawn material and they too are getting a taste. The majority of my RPG and GM experience is in AD&D, so I have some questions that I'd like the communities input on.

    First off, Salvage Rights.
    1. Finding an abandoned wreck gives you title, I understand. But what legal process do you suppose one would have to go through to validate that title?

    Hey,
I recently aquired some Knight Hawks miniatures. I need to get some paints. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get good paints for these guys? What do you use to attach the bases? Epoxy? superglue? Any help wpould be appreciated.

I posted a link about facebook for the StarFrontiersman Magazine over in its own forum, but perhaps it might get seen quicker/better in the main forums.
