 June 25, 2009 - 7:20am | Looking for some overall feedback to this new project. I'm currently working on a game setting in Truane's Star that predates the UPF by a century. Considering the difference in technology between modern setting games and pre-history timeframes, as such I'm redefining some of the items from AD and KH but retaining the same game mechanics. May 26, 2009 - 7:19am | I guess I've been thinking about this alot lately, cause you always think, "Boy, wouldn't it be great if the road blocks to SF being in print and having the full support of a viable non head up the butt company behind it." I was laying in bed contemplating getting up when it hit me.: The single biggest thing I'd love to see, if anyone ever managed to buy the SF product from WOTC or if they said hey lets see if we can't squeeze this dusty old game for a few dollars more is: Miniatures!!!!!!  May 15, 2009 - 4:44pm | I mutilated Larry's original starship design worksheet and came up with this: http://starfrontiers.us/node/3638 It isn't canon, and it ain't pretty, but it works. Instead of MHS points, I used a Hull Point system similar to Alternity's ship design system. I used a couple of Shadow Shack's gizmos(the Deflector Shield(1 HP per point of Hull Size, can take up to (HS+1) hits before going offline, absorbing 75% damage each hit)and the Heavy Laser Cannon(6 HP; 6D10 hull damage*).
