rattraveller April 10, 2014 - 2:56pm | Conversion and kit bashing time me bud Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go? |
Shadow Shack April 10, 2014 - 3:37pm | Do what Lucas did in the 70s: make your own. I read something about the Star Destroyer was fabricated by grafting numerous plastic model parts from various naval vessel kits. The benefit now of course is all the Anime/Gundam/Mecha etc kits to choose from these days. |
jedion357 April 10, 2014 - 11:34pm | Terl Obar started carving an assault scout out of wood while on vacation, I wonder if he finished it? I've dabbled in Paper models but I dont think I have the experience or expertese to design a paper model assault scout. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
KRingway April 11, 2014 - 12:16am | A friend of mine kit-bashes mech models: https://www.flickr.com/photos/33483111@N03/ He's a long-time Star Frontiers player, but I don't know if he's ever considered kit-bashing something from the game. |
rattraveller April 11, 2014 - 3:13am | Very nice love the one made out of a coke can Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go? |
KRingway April 11, 2014 - 6:33am | He's also kit-bashed quite a few sci-fi guns in the past, although these are all for Traveller:2300AD so far. |
