Idea that has been brewing in my head and I wanted to get some imput

I did these deckplans that I called the serrena dawn 2

They were fairly well recieved but they were incomplete, largely because the dunjini files became corrupt and I was loathe to try to recreate them from scratch.

so anyways I was thinking that since I'm now using CC3 software that I might have a new go at this ship this year.

However as I've found before collaboration with the community is often better than working in a vacuum.

So I'm soliciting imput for a fresh look at the Serrena Dawn.

Foundational ideas i think this fresh look should incorporate.

1. Vertical not horizontal deck plan
2. Capture the spirit of the original horizontal deck plan ie multiple ways to move around and or advance to the escape vehicles. I think my SD2 deck plans managed to do that but we can explore ways of doing that to improve on my work.

Secondary considerations
3. Consider how the deck plan interacts with the module's "story" to fix any inconsistencies or illogic.

Tertiary considerations
4. incorporate things like engineering chases and air vents and auxillary ladder wells
5. make it a full blown usable deck plan for any thing and not just for the Crash on Volturnus module.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I made SD 2 with out a elevator and simply stated that the ship was so old the hull predated the time that ships elevators become prevalent. Should we continue to leave out the elevator? That design choice was influenced by the look of SD1 deck plans in horizontal.

If the writers of SF-0 had had KHs available at the time of writing the module they may have given the ship vertical orientation and an elevator. We certainly could as well.

Perhaps split the difference and make it 2 ladder wells and 2 elevators. which will give the decks a look similar to SD1 in appearance.

I always felt that the deck plans spent too much time going through airlocks to get someone from one section to another.  If we go to a vertical deck plan this is fixed and you get the time delay because you have to go up the elevator, so I would say yes go with elevators.  The elevators make the time delay make sense.
