The bridge operations station is one of the most important stations on a Colonial Space Fleet spacecraft's bridge. From Here almost all functions of the ship can be controlled and accessed. While this is often considered the "Captain's Chair" few Space Fleet Captains actually sit in this chair during normal flight operations. Normally it is delegated to the ship's pilot or executive officer giving the Captain the freedom to move about among the other bridge stations stations.
