Okay I was wondering if we should add ancient races such as the Eorna and other races (inside or oustside the Frontier) to give the galaxy more history. Should we go with the Revelation Space style of story where the galaxy was torn apart by ancient races who fought over the control of the galaxy. Maybe we can give it a name. Give reasons why the Sathar are the way they are (similar to the Inhibators who wish to exterminate life to prevent another war. The possiblilities are endless so give me some input on what you guys think we should do.

Definitely we should have Ancients - I would love to know more about the Eorna. I got a little more glimpse from a choose-your-own adventure I read that happened on Volturnus.

Not sure what "Revelation Space style" is but I'm not for making a solid hardcore "this is what happened before us" storyline.
I'm more for poking and prodding at the past and let ppl's imaginations fill in the gaps.

I know some ancients are better off as enigmas - hinted to but never fully understood.  If their technology was impressive, that makes them even more interesting.

why does technology always get lost?
