"Ebony Eyes" Dragon mag scenario came up recently

Got me thinking about gaming out the discovery of the twin black holes

Tramp freighter, PCs highered on miss jump into the system

tramp freighter so issues with stuff breaking down, use the large Khs freighter from KHs

They discover a structure like an eightsided die in the Lagrange point between the two black holes. Ancient structure, maybe its tetrarch maybe not.

Dungeon crawl of the structure and discovery of artifacts like those in the Baleum Blue adventure in the last Star Frontiersman issue as well as stuff like portable cold fussion nukes. Automated defenses, creatures in stasis chambers etc. HS 2 Thruster Class privateer in its docking bay- so they are not the first citizens of the Frontier to vist this structure. First visitors could be pirates most are dead now but they may have interfered with the proper automated working of the station. 

At some point the sathar can show up. They will board the PCs freighter, naturally, then seek to board the structure. For PCs to survive they will need to elude the sathar and make good their escape under the eyes of a sathar frigate.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

PCs will be using a large launch from the frieghter to board the structure.

I dont really consider this conveyance to be idea for manuevering around two black holes but in theory if they thread the needle, as it were, down the middle of the two gravitational fields it should be doable? or should it be that the freighter carries a shuttle with it?

Planned encounter while the PCs are transfering from the freighter to the structure there is some drift and they get into trouble because one black hole is just slightly stronger than the other. if its the launch the situation is hopeless and they are facing certain death but all of a sudden a tractor beam reaches out and brings the launch into the docking bay. 
This will put the Players on notice that they are dealing with advanced technology which has all sorts of ramification but they may only think of the one that suggest they could get rich by bringing advanced tech back to the Frontier. 

Tractor beam drains all energy form the ship it latches onto. Thus the privateer was drained of atomic fuel in its engines. one crew member took the back up fuel and hid it believing they should not leave the structure till they had acquired enough of the wonderous tech to make them all rich. PCs can find a Zebs guide file computer with video logs telling what happened.

this is to explain the 0-3 ghost images of a space ship in this area. but what other effects might happen because of the temporal and spatial fields being twisted out of shape? 

psychic disturbances? seeing ghost? Perhaps the captain of the freighter sees ghosts of dead crew that the PCs are replacing?

when the sathar show up the PCs with the highest LOG begin to hear the voice of one of the sathar? (telepathy) although it will be intermittant. 

I might need to rewatch Event Horizon for creepy ideas for weird temporal and spatial effects while PCs are on the station.
