The classic assault scout converted to SwoN

KWs Stats: HP 15, ADF 5, MR 4, DCR 50 Weapons AR (x4), LB, Defenses: RH

SwoN Stats: Hull patrol boat, Speed 4, Armor 5, HP 25, Crew 5/20, AC 6, Free Mass 3, Power 0, Hard Points 2, Class frigate, Weapons Fractal Impact AP 15 ammo 4, Polyspectral MES Beam AP 25, Defenses: Hardened Polyceramic Overlay -5 AP to attacking weapons. 
Other ships fittings: atmospheric configuration, Armoy & Ships Loker: 20k of weapons and defenses for crew and 20k of survey and exploration equipment for crew, presurrized cargo space. 

Cost: 7,040,000
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Patrol boat hull in SwoN was obvious its one step slower than a fighter but faster than everything else. 

Its limited power only allows for two weapons systems that mirror the KHa versions capabilities. 

Since weapons used up all of the available power this ship is limited to the spike -1 drive with no hope of a spike drive upgrade- this mimics the KHa versions limited jump capability.

Atmospheric configuration was obviously necessary. Cargo space fitting provides for a pressurized cargo space.

The armory provides for 20k of personal weapons and armor. 

Ships Locker provides for 20k of exploration and survey equipment

Also the beam weapon I gave the assault scout is a tech level 5 item and I did this with fore thought in that the assault scout is supposed to be an advanced design. And the TL 5 weapon standard does that.

However, it would be just as easy to incorporate the TL 4 multi focal laser with the big difference being price. Power, Free Mass and hard points would be unchanged. 

Another option would be the sandthrower which is a flack weapon- doing double damage before armor is applied against fighters and standard damage against other ship classes. The sandthrower would save 2 pts of power for another fitting.

An Assault scout swapping out the MES TL5 weapon for a sand caster could pick up an advanced nav computer, auto targeting system, cold sleep pods, a drive 2 upgrade, emission dampers, extended life support, extended med bay, fuel scoops, precog nav chamber, survey sensor array, or workshop. 

The emissions dampers and drive 2 upgrade would be best IMHO.

It should be noted the patrol boat hull is a frigate class that is basically limited to fighter scaled weapons and defenses due to its available power. So its effectively a fighter writ large with double the weaponry.

 And if TL 5 items are not available then the sand caster is probably a good choice since does double damage against fighters and shuttles and standard damage against anything bigger.
