Personal opinion is that they will not succeed. Maybe bleek but it will be a start and a learning experience that can save other species.
Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go?

I googled this earlier today to see if there had been any progress or success in the two years since the article.   Seems there is still work going on using southern white rhinos to help in the IVF.  I'm swamped with work right now so I've not had free time to research anything so I just skimmed the BBC article that google found me from this summer.

I wonder if Indians be used as the birth rhino, fertilized eggs placed in them, thus a larger number could be birthed. This works with horses and cattle species.
