I just came across this and think of it as pretty interesting.

The questions I have after reviewing it are:

What would be the best ways to connect the levels together?  I'm pondering ladders, lifts, etc.

Would there be any odd effects of gravity as the spiral went out?  Typically I pick a distance out on my space station and set the spin rate to produce 1g there and then calculate the other deck gravities from that.

last thought, notice the interesting pouring water footage from a spinning circular gravity.

I've long wanted to draw up a full space station in CAD that I could use in animation or 3D printing, etc.  My desire now is to use this concept when (if I ever get the time) I draw it up.  The floor plans for this would just be two long hall ways going in opposite directions with stairs or elevators the move you back and forth between the opposite hallways.

I like this idea and the fact it can be added to is wonderful.
