Tri-latterally symetrical creatures in Volturnus evolution

The edestakai and the queequig are stand outs in this and clearly represent a branch of Volturnus evolution. The queequig and edestakai clearly share a common ancestor

There are probably others that are variations on the theme.

A smaller, more primitive version of the edestakai that is essentially a "monkey" or the original genetic stock that was used for uplift sapience by the eorna. working title "Messtakai" for missing link edestakai or monkey edestakai.

some of the volturnus creatures could also be reimagined as tri-latterally symetrical like the shand shark- it could easily have a tri part mouth.

I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I suspose you could involve strangler chutes and ul-mor and their progenitors in this branch of Volturnian Evolution

EDIT: toss in the funnel worm and dropper

Land whale could be re-imagined to be tri-latterally symetical in mouth
