 December 19, 2010 - 9:59am | this thread is for discussing what we need, whats been found on the web that might be useful What we can recycle and, I hesitate to say this, what we should not recycle- though I think we all know which pics should not be recycled. what art you are producing in support of this project I know that a lot of creative efforts require the artist to feel inspired so to that end I suggest you simply look through the documents section and see what grabs you bang out some art- it will be greatly appreciated. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
December 19, 2010 - 10:09am | Cults and Cadres First off this is for those who feel that have some skills but are not that confident in them yet: The cadre and cults have some logos in zebs guide; fresh cleaned up versions of these rather than scans from a yellowed copy of the original would be nice- either scanned and cleaned or redrawn fresh. both a black and white and a full color version would be great. Next some of the cults and cadres that dont currently have a logo could use one- here is a chance for some creative expression. Finally some drawings of individuals that immediately come to mind- how about a new drawing of the Malthar since he and his organization will get a write up, also a Red Devil pirate with the red devil tattoo or the tattoo as a patch on his clothing. On the recycle front- there is that picture of the star law officer arresting a wild haired youth (page 42 in remastered zebs) what organization does the youth belong too? the symbol on his chest comes from Celtic culture and if still around today (its even related to the swastica) perhaps we can develop a new cult or criminal org to fit that artwork and symbol. December 29, 2010 - 3:28pm | Anyone have any ideas about what would make a good bit of cover art for the ZG to the Rim? The nice bit of art done by Crow for the zebs races archetype article would work but it was recently used in the zine and I plan to submit this to the zine as well so that a recent recycling of artwork might be a poor showing (that is up to w00t to decide) however if anyone has something that would work for this project that be cool. I dont want to use the old ZG cover as that has a human on it and nothing in this document really deals with humans.
