First off, apologies for the extensive delay in the games I was hosting, as I had to deal with some health issues followed by massive workload increases at my job. Things have calmed down and some of the games are resuming once more.

On that note, "Dominion" relaunched today ---

Quote:
The Corona Phoenix crew, along with their allied Sentinel heavy fighter escort, have just encountered a new type of Sathar warship in Dixon's Star. Having defeated the aggressors in deep space, the pair sufferred some minor damage that needed attention.

Having docked at Laco Station to effect repairs, the crewmembers enjoyed some brief downtime. Now that both craft are restored to ship shape, they are eager to get out of the SDA's home system. Just before recieving clearance, bad news comes over the traffic control channel. A large group of SDA regulars assembles outside the craft, demanding a routine cargo inspection.

However, the presence of a commander (following a prior inspection by another commander via the SDA destroyer encountered on arrival) suggests that this inspection is going to be anything but routine...

This is a dark reality SF game based on my own campaign where an upstart dictator moves into the Frontier and eventually takes over.

And equally important, I'd like to kick off another Basically Speaking session of live gaming here. Anyone that is new/unfamiliar with this game, it utilizes a tweak of the Basic Rules (Port Loren Raiders game in other settings). You can find out more by clicking onthe GameRoom header and enter Basically Speaking.

Space Rats is back up, and I've taken over refereeing from Shadow.

Yeah, it's short notice...I'll be in the game room if anyone can make it. If not, we'll schedule something more in advance.

Okay, something is really buggy here. It was doing this last time I was in the game room for Brian's ATG game...

I'm unable to navigate anything at this site via other open wiondows once logged into the game room, and the dice roller is either non-responsive or very slow to respond.

Yeah, I don't think the site ever fully recovered from it's move to a new hosting provider.  For one thing it is a lot slower generally than it used to be.  I haven't tried out the game room since then.  If you want, you can try hosting games in the chat room on my site as well.

I think it's a cache issue with the database since the move.
I've alerted Bill.

Terl has a decent game room, I would suggest email the players instead of posting. Much faster response.

"hello, hello! you say today, I say tomorrow" ;-)

Go to Terl's site, enter the forums and at the top there is a link to Chat.
