This is a piece of work that everyone should file with the site. If we can keep track of changes, project members who participated, and so on it can make it harder for companies to steal ideas, individuals from claiming we having broken laws, and so on. All in all remember to do it and re-upload it or send it to me via email and I'll upload it for you.

Thanks.

The changes are already tracked for each document. It looks like at the bottom of each document. It was a feature I requested for this reason and to have backups for if someone makes an unacceptable change to a group document.

Also, a web document is already protection against copyright violations. Only a small group of people in the world know how to change the date on original files, and most of them are concerned with either hacking and stealing from banks than stealing anyone's copyright. They have a better chance of getting away with stealing from a bank than with copyright infringement. In other words, as long as you have an electronic copy, it's 98% secure. As I said in a recent post, hard copies are the best way to secure your work (They should be signed and dated). Filling out a form isn't going to protect your work.

Also, I'm not organized enough to use stuff like you've presented. I have a severe case of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), along with a debilitating case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD, aka: "shell shock"), so something like this only stresses me out.

Also, technically, the fact that we are associating this material with WOTC's copyright, they could easily claim rights to everything we post on this site. Whether they do or not is a different story. So do not post anything here that you don't want a chance of being ripped by WOTC.

No actually they cant take anything on this site without compensating the creator(s) which means no matter what material they try to take they cant use it without paying this community who put it together because that would violate some serious Intellectual Rights on creation of items. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Another thing the form should be filled out for changes, play testing, and proof reading. It should also state where the are is from (in case some tries to update the art), and it should be approved a good looking product. Not a half-assed one from the community. Because it make the people who helped put the project together look bad, and it makes the community look bad. So, just file the papers and lets get this show on the road.

Lotsa luck with this one, Gerg.  Asking people to file legalistic papers for fan efforts probably isn't going to get anywhere.  We do this for fun; you're turning it into work.

I'm not filling out the forms for anything. Sorry. There's already a record of copyright in the documents themselves, as well as a record of changes. People have access to the documents and can recommend changes according to playtesting in the forums. I hope you the best in using them.
